2. William Daniel HICE

BIOGRAPHY
Death Certificate 27-181, Union County, NC states that William Daniel
Hice was born on September 9, 1858 and died November 25, 1942.  No
mother or father are listed.  Informant shownas T. M. Hice of
Charlotte, NC.    Deed dated December 19, 1887 from W. C. Presson et
ux of Union County, NC to H.W.D. Hice of Union County, NC for 26 acres
on Grassey Creek recorded in Deed Book 38 at page 517 of the Union
County Registry on December 27, 1905.  Consideration recited to have
been $125.00.    Deed dated December 28, 1927 from Wriston Lee and
wife Callie Lee to W.D. Hice and wife Ella Hice for lots in Benton
Heights recorded in Deed Book 67 at page 590 of the Union County
Registry on December 31, 1927.  Consideration recited to have been
$900.00.    Deed dated October 26, 1929 from J.S. Rowell and wife
Margie Rowell to W.D. Hice and wife Ella Hice for a lot in Benton
Heights recorded in Deed Book 71 at page 452 of the Union County
Registry on October 30, 1929.  Consideration recited to have been
$100.00.    Will of W.D. Hise dated October 18, 1921, recorded in Will
Book 6 at page 383, Union County, NC.  Will was probated December 10,
1942, and left all property to his wife, Ella Hice.

I have Maniza Honeycutt born about 1839 as the son of George andTelitha Honeycutt who were in Union County in 1850, Stanley County in1860. Her older sister Frances "Frankie" Honeycutt is my husband'sancestor and per the 1870 census records, Frankie and Maniza livedtogether with their out-of-wedlock children in Stanley County. Wouldlove to hear more from you, in what county is this cemetery located?

BIOGRAPHY
Death certificate 2-1, Union County, NC shows that Alsy Adella Presson
Hice was born January 20, 1861, and died December 16, 1915.  She was
buried at Zion Church.  The death certificate does not show the name
of her husband.
