Megan Elizabeth Rembert

This is our youngest granddaughter Megan, who will be 16 in November, 2008. This collage is made from photos taken on a beautiful day at the end of March, '05. There is an abandoned soapstone mine at the bottom of Barlow Cove where railroad writing "pencils" were once made from soapstone mined there. Now only a large crater remains.  Over the years, the sides have eroded leaving the roots of a large tree exposed. It's quite an experience to climb through these roots and sit almost directly under the tree trunk. She's obviously an Atlanta Braves and NC State fan.

Notice the rabbit ears on top of her grandmother's head.
